Found a caterpiller today while hiking.

We were all pretty entranced. Eventually, we had to leave and head back home.

McKay, being a smart child, blew the caterpiller a kiss. Unlike his Mama who at the age of ~3 kissed a caterpiller goodbye, only to have it crawl into her mouth. 30+ years later, I can STILL feel it. Ick.

    What I want to know is: caterpillars aren’t exactly known for setting land speed records, so how long were you kissing it for it to crawl into your mouth? And why didn’t you STOP when you felt it start to pass your lips?
