McKay’s school has been doing a book study (odd, since he can’t read) on snakes. They started the year with a book called Verdi about a snake in the rainforest who doesn’t want to grow up. Along with this has come *alot* of biology. They spent the better part of the week watching and discussing this video.

Apparently the sound was too scary, but the rest of it was really “cool”. This has also led to some interesting dinner conversations:

• Cougars? Yeah…they’re members of the cat family.
• People and Snakes are everythingivores. They eat meat and vegetables and noodles.
• One of us needs to go and kill a pig…
