happy new Years
Had an 11am appointment to meet the people we’re going to use to babysit Puck for our upcoming trips to Chicago (yum yum) and Mexico (urp). Seem very nice. Kinda west coast flakey. But will be fine, they let the dogs up on the furniture and gave Puck a cookie. $$$$$ though . It’s going to cost us more to board Puck for the week (10 days??) we’re in Mexico then it will be for McKay to travel with us.
Next stop was Rack Attack. Yep, the Corolla is having plastic surgery. As odd as it does sound, our little Corolla is getting a tow bar installed. We’ve been cycling so much lately, now we want to start venturing further afield a need a bike rack. Roof mounts won’t work, cuz we can’t lift my lovely steel frame bike. And should we need to move across the country again, we’re legal to tow up to 2000lbs.
Finally, 4 hours at Stanley Park. Saw ducks, pigs, goats, llamas, geese and totem poles. Played at the aquarium, water park, playground and rode the miniature train.
