*gasp*

Ok, sticking our heads out for a quick breath.

Spending all our time trying to find a place to live. This city is insane. There is nothing to rent, or buy for less than a gazillion dollars. We’ve not looking for anything too fancy here. Trying for the best combination of

  • closer to Mckay’s school (and Dan’s new job…yeah, I know, more on that soon too);
  • not have anyone beneath us,
  • have outside space for McKay,
  • have a third bedroom, and
  • atleast 1500square feet.
  • less than $3000. (I’m serious…it’s insane).

Does this exist? NO. We’ve seen some very scary places, one with two kitchens, neither of which had a dishwasher. We thought we could have a breakfast kitchen and a dinner kitchen. *sigh*. We saw a place Friday night, that is in the Opposite direction to McKay’s school, and has no yard, but is big, and above retail space. Only three blocks to the park. So it would be fine. Told them we’d take it. Do we hear back? No…*argh*.

On the more inspiring front; we booked for our yearly trip to Mexico today, and we’re going for *10* days instead of the regular 6. Such a treat.
