Every time we move, we seem to lose a few things. In Chicago, from the Northside to the loop, it was the lid to the blender (found 9 months later inside the ice cream maker). This time, McKay’s green light sabre. Now, you see, this is his favourite toy ever. And we KNOW this. And we left it out until almost the end and then packed it carefully. I know we did.

So…we went to Toys R Us last weekend and bought a new light saber. Red, with fancy schmancy spring load action.

…and the drill bits. We had these out the WHOLE time we lived in the condo_from_hell. But now? Nope…Dan bought a new set at Canadian Tire today.

On a funnier note, Dan noticed today, that we don’t have a set of pots that I got rid of before we left Atlanta.

We’ve also found some “lost treasures”. McKay pulled out Dan’s Playstation I last weekend and wanted to play SO badly. I was pretty sure it would either be broken or missing something essential, so felt pretty secure in letting him push buttons and pull the rest of the cords out of the box. Finally realized that we did indeed have all the parts. But no games. Until we looked inside. Oh. “Jedi Power Battles”. Fabulous.

L: You know baby, we only have this one game…and it’s a shooting game.
M: That’s OK Mom. I don’t mind.

So Dan and McKay have been playing Starwars killing getting the robots games all week.
