for he is Truly an Evans Boy

Much to my pleasure, this last Friday night saw McKay’s introduction to Ghostbusters. McKay had voiced some anxiety about being scared, but decided he was big enough to watch it.

We had a blast. Much to what I’m sure will be Uncle Blue’s satisfaction, McKay’s two favourite parts are:

  1. Egon, during his investigations, poking a hotel guest to ensure he is not a ghost.
  2. Vince Clortho (Keymaster of Gozer) responding to an offer for coffee with “Yes, have some!”

That’s my boy.

    Now ya done it…

“Wow! This place is great!!! When can we move in? You gotta try this pole! I’m gonna get my stuff.”

“Generally you don’t see that kind of behavior in a major appliance.”

“He will come in one of the pre-chosen forms. During the rectification of the Vuldrani, the traveler came as a large and moving Torg! Then, during the third reconciliation of the last of the McKetrick supplicants, they chose a new form for him: that of a giant Slor! Many Shuvs and Zools knew what it was to be roasted in the depths of the Slor that day, I can tell you!”

I better get back to work now…

A couple of hours after I posted this, he added:

“I also like the part where, for funny, the one Ghostbuster says, ‘Where do these stairs go?’ and the leader Ghostbuster says, ‘They go up.’ That’s funny.”
